BA Fine Art Add to shortlist
Programme profile
This programme educates students on how to become visual artists who are able to develop their artistry independently in an international context.
The programme is divided into a foundation course and an advanced course. The foundation course includes an intensive and extensive orientation in all four tracks of the advanced course: sections in Painting, Free Graphics, Interdisciplinary Attitudes and 3D Design. According to the academy "these sections offer a climate in which students are urged to meet the boundaries of the disciplines and to exceed them".
In addition to lectures, there is a focus on an intensive exhibition programme. Inside and outside of the Academy, all aspects of exhibiting art will be evaluated.
In view of the fact that Fine Arts are no longer bound to traditional techniques, New Media play an important role throughout the programme.
